A320 Neo Seatmap
The A320 neo seat map appears to have been revealed... or at least it's the first time I've seen it.
https://www.airnewzealand.com.au/sea...s-a320neo-165i
It'll feature 165 seats (down 3 from 168 on the current A320 international and 6 from the domestic fleet).
Amazingly they've also managed to make it worse for those without any status as seats on the left hand side behind the exit row will now feature 29" seat pitch - yep the same as Jetstar.

More Space + seats (45 inc. Works Deluxe compared to 39) , and tighter pitch in the back. It's 48 Space + in the A321neo. Looks like NZ has realised it has more status holding passengers, but that the rest simply don't care enough to fly elsewhere (which is probably true). For me, if I can't get Space + on an A320 I wont fly it.
So now QF and VA have more legroom for those without status, although I expect NZ will still sell the 76cm pitch seats in front of the exit rows.

Hi everyone. I booked NEO option last night chc-MEL. From the seat map I was presented there was only 1 row of WD on ABC, and two rows on the other side of plane. The map didnt show the other rows were filled, just greyed out. So are there fewer WD seats on most flights?

Has anybody seen an actual seatmap showing FF + preferred seats?
While skimming through my flights today I've just noticed a MEL-WLG flight at the start of June that had no seat selected and when I went to seat select it was showing as unavailable. Aircraft type in the app still showed as A320 but a dummy booking shows as an A320neo.

That leaves 21 HVC Seats on the new A320 NEO. For comparison, the A321 Neo's have 24 HVC seats and the current A320 have 21 HVC seats (not counting 5ABC which is always blocked for airport control).

It's a little disappointing they didn't allocate at least another row to HVC seats on the A320neo. It's not uncommon to book flights ex WLG (and I would assume it's no different ex CHC or AKL) where HVC seats can all be gone a few months out. I've got two flights in coming months where at the time of booking there was only a single middle seat left.

Sure there will be staff familiarisation and positioning flights but not sure they would be scheduling those this early.
