Does AKL Duty Free provide tamper-proof (STEB) bags for alcohol?

Does AKL Duty Free provide tamper-proof (STEB) bags for alcohol?
Tomorrow I'm flying AKL-SFO-SEA, and I'm hoping to buy a bottle of gin at AKL duty free shop. It is my understanding that I will have to exit security in SFO to transit to the domestic terminal for the SFO-SEA flight. Is it clear that any Duty Free shop in AKL will provide a proper tamper-evident bag (STEB) for passengers connecting in the USA?

I did exactly the same trip in August, but once I had cleared customs, I put the duty free in my suitcase before heading up to PDX, Just to be sure! I didn't want to risk some nice single malt!
