I’ve booked 2 so far obeying all their booking class rules etc and no bonus points are coming up on my expected earn on my bookings screen. I guess I’ll be on hold for a while tomorrow to them sorting it out.

I really wonder what the intended goal of the campaign is? NZ really don't need more HVC's right now.

Extra booking revenue. Should be fairly obvious. If they're targeting people that are very close to hitting status, but not quite there, then it makes sense as a customer retention tool. Though to be fair, it's not like there's a lot of domestic competition, so...

They said the code was in there and the bonus points will show at my end after each flight (38 per leg Akl-Wlg). We will see 😊

I received 3 SPs on a flight last week....imagine getting 9! It would would be like.....last year

Bonus Points Showing

Exciting! My 60 bonus status points are showing now in potential earnings for each return Akl/WLG 😁 Such a great deal for status points! Ends up $106 for 76 points 👍

I got the original email having gone from 40+ domestic round trips a year for multiple years to essentially none (change in job role). So I am currently a long way from getting silver (other than via the soft landing).

I guess I was about 70% of the way to gold...still a way to go but the bonus points from my status runs will take care of that sooner than I thought 😊

I was disappointed that I didn't receive this email as I actually had a bunch of domestic flights I was looking to book. I'm guessing I was not targeted since my FF status with them comes from overseas trips.

I'm assuming it was somewhat random. Most of my status points are also from overseas trips and I had just made Gold a month earlier.

I was about 350SPs from Elite (and the same for requalifying for Gold early). With these bonus points they tempted my enough to go on a status point run, so for them it worked by grabbing more revenue from me...
