Unhappy First world issue

I am stuck wondering as to why on Air NZ flights, domestic or across the Tasman etc, it is such a jolly hassle to get a can of say L&P...

No worries to be handing out full cans of beer, so why not a can of soft drink for goodness sake, not a part filled plastic cup... rant over.

It is a little think but a dam pain of a little thing.

I expect more ANZ, surely you can spare a full can of soft drink as you can beer

No issue at all for me.

I flew ADL-AKL last week and the two times I asked for a soft drink I was given the can.

One would think that deal with Lion Nathan provides them with beer at cheaper than they are able to purchase Coke Products.

Have had an Coke can a couple of times recently on the Tasman, that was produced in China and not in english

I don't necessarily think it is policy. International airline food gets binned at the end anyway and I've seen people left with cans of soft drink more times than not.

And when you are travelling J they just stop short of leaving the bottle of champagne (or whatever drink you have) by refilling.

I find generally that they give the whole can, as recently as just a few days ago. If you have a fare which includes drinks then you can also order another one for free via. the IFE. Here's to more "green drink"!
