Using 2 RUs, Y to J
Tēna koutou katoa!
Am travelling AKL YVR AKL in October. I had 2 RUs available when I booked the flights and lodged a request for a Y-to-J double RU upgrade on the outbound sector. I re-qualified for Gold in May and submitted my new 2 RUs in the return sector.
Anyone who is not Gold Elite have any success with Y-to-J RU upgrades? If I can't go Y-to-J will they give me PE if it's available?

PE is not automatically given if BP is full. If you're happy with this is best to speak to lounge staff if the upgrade hasn't cleared at check-in.
