Air NZ Parking at WLG - Closing (permanently?)

I've never used either due to not using any of the chains that the hotel voucher it's valid at. I also use thrifty car as their prices are often up to 50% cheaper than Avis/Budget for the half a dozen or so times per year I rent a car in NZ.

That would be nice since I have a few trips coming up and have always thought the Air NZ long-term park was good value (although I'm not surprised it's closing, as I was always the only person on the shuttle bus!)

I always used it as it was so much cheaper than the airport parking. A lot of the parking was staff, so it seems they're the priority now.

I use the "orange taxi" (airport bus) on a regular basis.

The land currently being used for Air New Zealand pay and display parking at Wellington Airport will shortly be returned to the airport company for its operational use.
Unfortunately, as a result from 1 April we will be unable to offer an Air New Zealand parking facility, and therefore our Elite members will not be able to use Elite parking eVouchers at Wellington Airport.

Just to confirm Air NZ have now also told me there will be no parking replacement and no alternative or compensation for Elite customers who now can't use their vouchers.
