789 J seating
Hi FT
Apologies in advance if this has been covered before.
I'm flying a 789 SYD-AKL in J. I'm solo so will probably choose the A seats - are all the A seats the same? Should 1A/6A be avoided or are they all ok?
Cheers

I generally tend to go for an A side seat - part habit I think but also disembarking you don't have to wait for the other side like you do if coming from the K side. Not that that takes long but I hate lines!
I prefer middle region of A side but some others may like the ability to put things on the bench in the 1st and last seats. That's just personal preference. I don't think you're going to be concerned with galley noise etc on such a short flight.

Mostly the same except 6A/J/K have a small shelf and storage if you need it:

I also prefer the middle region A.
Overall find this seating arrangement better and more private than the NZ herringbone seat arrangement, but still rather awkward.
It's the only arrangement I can think of where it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to see out of the window from any window J seat.
The seat placement and partitions also look remarkably like cow stanchions.

A or K.
A having one row of seats then soild half wall.
K having two rows of seats.
Does A aisle get more FA through traffic because it is easier to navigate (my assumption that it is easier) given only one row of seats?
Which aisle seems to have less activity overall?
I have sat in 9K a couple of times and liked it, just wondering on others preference (solo traveller)
