Are VA LAX flights eligible for Airpoints Dollars?

Are VA LAX flights eligible for Airpoints Dollars?
Tempted to book LAX flights with VA on their current sale and thought they wouldn't be eligible for APD as the codeshare excludes LAX flights but Airnzpoints.co.nz shows they do. Can anyone confirm?

Looking here, www.airnzpoints.co.nz MEL-LAX on VA earns between 36 APD (Disc. Econ.) and 110 APD (Business) (0 SP's).

If you travel on any other Virgin Australia flight you will earn based on the earning rates in the Partner flights section of the Airpoints Dollars earning rates look up table.
