Upgrade on Delta with FB?
I am flying Ams-ATL-Panama with Delta and was wondering if I can upgrade with FB miles or (even better) ask for compl. upgrade (as Medallion member can according to delta.com).

What about other Skai team flights?

Hi, unfortunately no upgrades on Delta. If a DL flight is overbooked, you might get a chance for an OPUP, if you are plat. There are no automatic upgrades. Within the North American continent NW will give you automatic complimentary upgrades. You can upgrade with miles on AF/KL/NW transatlantic if you book Y/B/S class tickets. OPUPs on other Skyteam carriers depend on many parameters, if coach is not overbooked, it's not going to happen.

Go to Continental's website. On this page you will find out how to qualify for an upgrade by choosing the fare class. You can specify these on their booking engine.

This is a OnePass benefit and I would be interested in other FB members' experiences as I plan to fly to S America with CO soon

Unfortunately it is irrelevant what CO does for OnePass members, for FB members only FB rules apply. With CO and DL miles you can also not get F-award seats on AF. So the upgrading rules and upgradeable fare classes are set by FB.
