It has been instant in the past but my latest transfer of just 25000 miles has been held up for over a week. Both AF and C1 are telling me they can only open a ticket once it crosses 15 business days. Trying to get data points if anyone else has had this experience?
Thanks, I'll post an update here when/if it finally clears. Been 9 calendar days now with nothing. Researching on the internet I found delays as long as 6 days but almost 10 days now seems absurd.
My speculation is that the transfer is perpetually stuck due to a system glitch and they will eventually have to cancel/reverse or push it through manually after opening a ticket.
