5,475 Flying Blue miles, home airport is DTW - what to do?
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions? Redemption options seem to be relatively limited - I had looked at redeeming on a Delta flight, but haven't been able to find anything under 12,500. No merchandise worth noting is available, either... I do fly with Delta often but have about 21,000 miles amassed with them - should I maybe just switch to accumulating Blue miles on those flights instead for a bit so as to save up enough for a ticket redemption?

You can donate them to charity:

Otherwise, the miles are not worth very much. Right now you can't do much with either your DL or Flying Blue miles so you may as well just forget about Flying Blue and hope by the time you get enough on DL you will actually be able to find a low level award to a place you want to go--which can be quite a challenge.

There's really not much you can do with such a small amount. If all else fails, please donate to charity.

I'm down to 1,384 miles and my options are really limited. I can't even donate them to charity (below the minimum) or transfer them to Mrs Roger.
I hate to see miles disappear, but it does look like the only option.
