"Friend's bonus" 1000 miles

but - so far - my miles balance still has the 1,000 included; I'm sure that'll be fixed soon, though.

ROFL! The cancellation really takes the cake. Now I am indeed quite happy to not have received the Friend's Miles in the first place.
I was already used to FB sending out the wrong mails and then sending a little "oops, sorry." mail afterwards.
But now they do that with miles too? W T F ?
And I fear, Henry's "problem" of still having the 1000 miles included in the total balance will no doubt be fixed soon. The total miles balance can lag for up to 24hrs in Flying Blue land...

Maybe they should have labelled the debit as "FTer BONUS CANCELLATION" because I am not sure many of us will remain friend with FB after that joke.
Not that I care about 1000 miles (albeit...) but that seems rather stupid to credit then debit 1000 miles to several thousands if not millions of accounts.

Also kindly note that, in certain fares, to obtain 1000 miles you may have to fly 4/5 segments.

the FB way of losing friends
I had a trip on 4th of March and remember not seeing any "Friend's bonus", today was checking whether they added the mini miles, and discovered the bonus, both added and cancelled. 
Maybe it's FB's way of checking whether we really have any reason to continue to be their "friends"
