AF plans major flight number shuffle for the next 12 months (28MAY09)
AIRFRANCE appears to be planning a major flight number shuffle for the next 12 months.
Service to Atlanta, Detroit and Seattle already saw the change for 2009 Summer. ATL is in AF6xx and Detroit/Seattle in AF3xx
In Winter 2009/10, Bamako, Chicago, Houston, Miami will see the change of flight number.

As of 28MAY09, AIRFRANCE from the launch of 2010 Summer timetable will be shuffling flight numbers across Middle East, Central Africa, Caribbean, and Indian Ocean

I personally would like rationalization of JFK flight numbers.
I understand these are legacies, like AF 008, but I would like some scheduling to be reflected in times. Fine to keep 8 for the 19h10 departure, but then I would prefer that the 16h35 departure be 7, not 10 etc.
It is not a big deal, but for me it would make life just a little bit easier for my almost weekly trips.
