CONNECTION BETWEEN 2F and 2D in 15mn
Today, my flight from LHR arrived at the stand in 2F at 09:15 iso 09:00.
I cleared immigrations and walked (fast) to the very end of 2D (lower level desks).
Made it to the desk with 10mn to spare (09:30) before closing time of my next flight (NON REV ticket= no through check).
That's 15mn from my seat on the aircraft parked at one end of CDG to c/in at the other end.
Should I be proud of my achievement?
On the topic of immigration: it is really a joke. The officer manning the ACCESS 1 line did not check a single passenger for the whole time I waited in line but never called any other passenger over, leaving just 2 of his colleagues deal with quite a large number of people. Worse thing is that you can't even say anything like you would do to anyone else working in the private sector.

Try Schengen to non-Shengen at AMS.. there is no fast connection lane like there is from non-Schengen to Schengen..
Trouble is, training and organization are to blame, not the person themselves (most of the time); and when you make a scene or get rude you're just being a dick...
I get really pissed off about the endemic incompetence of ServiceAir and LBA Airport generally, but it's is the organization and training that is at fault not the person. Being rude helps noone, and certainly won't resolve your problem any quicker.
