Curtain between business and economy gone in Air France?
Om my last two Air France flights within Europe there was no curtain separating business class and economy. People from economy were also free to use the toilet on the front of the plane which made for a lot more movement than usual in business class.
Is no curtain something that is here to stay? Is it the same in KLM?

Until COVID-19, the domestic flights out of CDG were part of AF's medium-haul network, alongside European and North African destinations. They are now part of AF's short-haul network, and rotations can include both domestic flights out of ORY and domestic flights out of CDG. Unfortunately, this also means that some service elements for domestic flights out of CDG are now more closely aligned with service for flights out of ORY, including catering.
Obviously, this would not account for changes on flights such as ARN-CDG, and it would be an unwelcome development if this were to be a lasting trend.

Let alone the often very poor English skills from some ORY crews…

For Y Pax using the J WC, the curtain never stopped them anyway.
And I have never seen this enforced by FAs, on any short haul european airline, ever.
To be honest I don't care that much either. When the cart service is ongoing, it's not like there is an easy way past to the rear.

I just flew a CDG-province flight (AF mainline / A321), and there was indeed no more « main central curtain » but only the 2 little side ones (above the seat heads). Weird…

I”m still convinced that AF does not believe in a proper domestic business class
