No seat selection on domestic AF flight?
booked a CDG-NCE flight and I can’t select a seat even for $. Would be happy to pay for EXIT ROW, but when I log into manage my booking there is no option to select seats. Any way around this? Call

AF uses some obscure algorithm pre-assign seats at the start of OLCI as a function of status and fare.
You can try to change them and more seats can be available nearer to departure time.
Sometimes you have the option of buying exit rows ahead of time.
That's only when they are sure which c will operate.

I decided I didn't want to deal with the ZRH-CDG-Change Terminals-NCE, get in late then drive to my destination nonsense and just booked a new ZRH-NCE J ticket with LX. Much simpler. Issue is now moot, thx!

There is no seat selection, for no one. That's unexplainable but that's how it is.
