Looks nice! Very similar (almost identical to?) the QR 787 seat, one of the nicest in the skies right now.

Just a pity that they stopped half way and didn't improve the bedding (matress, pillow, duvet-type coverlet). But that is something that they can still add later.

But definitely an improvement compared to the current cabin. ^

7-8 years after Asian carriers, but still better than the current 2-3-2...
The many GP on AF will be very happy, just wondering if there will be any seats left for revenue pax !!!

Yes. With the same collapsible armrest (aisle side) that is NOT parallel to the seat, making it quite uncomfortable to use (back strain).

And AF pretends that the seat was custom made for them!

Indeed it looks like a version of Cirrus seat used by many airlines for several years.
But the middle part between two pair seats seems to be protruding a bit more than on CX 777s that I have used so many times.
I might be getting a wrong visual impression or it could be that they try to get more seats in the same space due to a different layout of the existing galleys.
Anyway Cirrus is a great seat, so that is a marked improvement. And the design looks very elegant.

Excellent product and outstanding work.

Hmmm may be it is time to reconsider flying with AF instead of LH when flying in business class @:-)

Not flying AF for their C class is one thing and perfectly understandable. Going for LH instead, well, why not, but only if you don't care about the seat, because the still common old C seat on LH is quite bad as well and not (any? Much?) better than AF. Which means you went for other reasons, no? So switching back to AF now because they have the new seat means you suddenly care about the seat and leave behind whatever else you preferred at LH. Interesting.

Unless you assume that AF also changes the other elements of its longhaul C class offering. But I don't think they will
