If you get "Your request could not be processed", it's a server load error. Try again. They're getting slammed.

YHZ-LAX $322 one way in Lattitude... I think that's worth it.

EDIT** Getting Error
You do not have enough allocation to book 2 passengers with the promotion code entered. Please verify and try again.

Yeah it looks like they probably allocated so many tickets to that code. Probably an estimation on how many people would be attending the tournament.

Too bad I wasn't able to use this code, I would of felt kind of guilty using that code anyway. I wonder if Air Canada will cancel the tickets of those who purchased tickets using that fare??

I would be willing to bet that they would. I wish I had seen this earlier in case they don't...might have been a nice little MR from YOW-YVR to push me into Elite.

I would think AC has a better capacity to control where the code was used to. Can it really be used to go to NRT, SYD, LAX, etc. If this is for a tournamount, you'd think they'd be able to limit it to that specific destination at least, to avoid what seems to be happening now.

I personally wouldn't go near it. While the code may be legit, in terms of being used for transportation to the tournament, my guess is its not legit to use elsewhere. AC could easily cancel the tickets of those who are using it to go to far flung destinations for cheap. Or at a minimum, they should probably contact pax who used the code who shouldn't be, asking if they'd prefer to have the difference between the actual ticket cost for the class of service vs. the cost they got with the code billed to their CC's, or have the tickets cancelled. Another possibility: anyone who added their Aeroplan # to reservations booked with this code could have an account audit coming to them soon, or soon after their reservations are used. Definitely not something I'd look forward to.

Yeah, it lasted all of a few hours. The code was later replaced with a new code with appropriate geographical restrictions.

The Latitude deals were sweet (YYZ-SYD $1800 return!) but I was too slow on the trigger.
