AC967 - mechanical today?

After 5 wonderful nights in Barbados, I was - reluctantly - ready to go home tonight at 4 pm on AC967. Just before boarding, they announced a mechanical issue and next info will come at 5 pm.

They have great GA staff here, all young females today, very helpful and smiling all the time. The unions must have certainly different rules down here.

I am back to the lounge awaiting the news. A man with a t-shirt stating: "Work less" just walked in and I would not mind another night here.

Well, we'll see at 5 pm...

Sorry to disappoint, no I did not. I was talking to a local on the beach discussing various aspects of living in Barbados, if you need to know.

I grew up a Habs fan in YSJ, but prefer watching the Sens now after 20+ yrs in YOW.

When Bert is not in-house, I find the staff tend to leave the screens on basketball. About two years ago, I had a near altercation with a rather intoxicated Brit who insisted on watching footie until Bert insisted he leave.

I have found AC staff at BGI extremely friendly, courteous and efficient.^The flights to/from BGI always seem to have a great crew as well.

Does that not sound like all AC/Jazz stations and crew?
