New Star Terminal is open in PVG Shanghai.
The new Star Terminal opened in Shanghai and the airlines are starting to move over... I was flying Shanghai Airlines "its a NEW Star partner" and they are one of the few airlines to move over.
THe airport is HUGE........ I have a bunch of pictures if someone want to host.
Anyhow the lounge is really nice, food just OK and they have rest areas so you can sleep. [ the sleep rest area might be needed if AC has 24 crew UNION rest times] free internet, great viewing area..... its really cool you can look out the window and she ships going by. Dont forget if you are flying to or out of this airport you have to try the High Speed Train, Maglev.
PS so far Shanghai Airlines has got it systems down perfect...... lol I go upgraded on one flight, exit row on the next and F check in.....^
Oh and Priority Baggage tags work.

SQ lounges always separate Business Class from First Class. However, both lounges usually share the same bathrooms. I usually enter Business Class lounge and then enter First Class lounge from the "back".

in BKK now, having just flown out of PVG T2. Used my *G to get into the SAL lounge on the upper level. Pretty good lounge for China standards, internet up an running, decent food and drink selection (croissants, sushi, dim sum). If you are there, check out the toilets, very hi-tech units in there. And yes, there is a split F and C section. I was there only a few minutes, but i do recall seeing a sign for showers. And meeting rooms. Other than that there are plenty of power connections and the "slumber cubicles" are not too bad. Only thing missing is some TVs but that may actually be a good thing. Sorry, no time for pictures this time.

SQ Lounge - PVG
On April 27 - flew Bus. Class on SQ - PVG-SIN. The Bus. Class lounge is located downstairs between gates 23 -24. When I got there, the lounge was completely full, so much so that there was no place to sit. As there was only 15min left for boarding it didnt really bother me that much as I was still able to grab a quick drink and some hot food before the flight. The lounge looked very nice has the same feel and comfort level as most SQ lounges in other cities. Internet and computer work stations appeared to be working fine. I have no idea where the first class lounge is, nor did I see any shower facilities.

You can use the ANA signet lounge (F Class) located downstairs at gate 20 .. There is also a bus. lounge at Gate 19 I forget which airline.. IMHO they are both nothing special.
