OT: Visa requirements for transit thru YYZ

Would appreciate if anyone knows if a Brazilian resident with a visa to visit US can transit thru YYZ without a visa to visit Canada?

Thanks!

You have no choice but to enter Canada as everyone clears immigration but I'm not sure how a transit pax is treated.

A visa is required - you can request a transit visa, which is good for 48 hours in the country, but generally requires you show plane tickets for the journey. Info is on the Citizenship & Immigration Canada web site at http://www.cic.gc.ca

You'd need at Canadian Visa even if you weren't getting off the plane.

Nationality: Brazil, Transit: Canada, Destination: USA

This is a handy web page you can use to check entry requirements for just about anywhere.
