Hey, they stuck around longer than they should have. I thought that they were going to shut down at the end of January.

To me, when a business fails, presumably loses money and then its operations cease, that business has gone under, even if it didn't screw its customers or suppliers. You are free to define it as you see fit.;)

Operations ceased, but there's no indication of why.
Cessation of operations does not always imply unprofitability.

It doesn't say it will close shop. It could turn into a charter outfit...
