Web Check in Problem

Am I the only one having trouble with this? Three weeks in a row I get an 'unavailable at this time' message. Complete pain especially with an early Monday flight.

What is odd is that last week I could not check in, but my family (who was on points) could.

I do not know the details, but, from what I have seen, possible explanations are: 1) your flight has been changed since your original booking (e.g., equipment change or slight change of time) or 2) you may be on the security watch list.

It is frustrating, but you should call AC who should be able to tell you the problem.

Tried calling

Did not get much of an answer, but they claim that if there is a non AC segement, then web check in does not work. Still does not explain it as tomorrow is just YYZ-MCO and it was booked as a one way (rest of the week is other carriers...)

Guess I'll try again tomorrow.

They'll tell you anything to make you go away.

I have been able to web check in with segments on BD, UA and LH, no problem.

Quick calls...

I suspect that the support staff in Mumbai (or wherever they are) get rated based on how quickly they can get you off the phone.

I have never had any problems until three weeks ago. Very frustrating.

On a (somewhat) related topic. Anybody know how long it takes to get a Nexus Air pass?

Found the problem?

It seems that while I am on a one way ticket, the travel agent file contains a flight on AA tomorrow. When I went to check in the AM, it showed the flight for tomorrow and said I could not check in. Fair enough.

Now the question is why do they care what I do the rest of the week when I check in for a flight. Guess I'll spend some time on the phone asking/complaining about it.

Maybe they are trying to make it tough if you fly somebody non SA.
