OT: CF18 over YYZ
I just saw (5 minutes ago) a CF18 fighter jet on the path for approach to 23. It was going pretty fast and had trails coming off the wings (not contrails but short white lines) as it flew by which lasted a few seconds. Is there an airshow this week? A plane in distress?
Any help appreciated.

I too saw 7 CT114 jets buzzing around Calgary yesterday morning with smoke trailing from them, but i'm pretty certain it had to do with the Stampede...

I just came in but saw a SUPERMAN banner being trailed from a Cessna over downtown Toronto. No airshow. Just the Molson Indie.

I know what a contrail is. This plane didn't have contrails it had wake vortexes. I have seen this with other planes (not often but occaisionally) from the wingtips.
