Same Flight with different miles?

I just noticed something interesting. We took a YVR-PVG on AC last year. I had my miles post to AP, Mrs zlc post to USAir DM and Kid zlc posting to UA MP. What's strange is I got 5603, wife got 5615 and kid got 5616.

Any one have a clue why AC gave different miles to different FFP for the same flight?

Different ways of calculating - slightly different geographical coordinates for the great-circle distance? I noticed recently that YYZ-SEA had gotten longer by 2 miles on AC as well.

I can understand this if were done from different airlines, but this is the same airline, same flight, and I believe AC send the miles to AP, DM and MP, am I correct?

It's obvious that your flight passed over a rupture in the space-time continuum. Your wife and kid should be thankful that a sharp AC-techie noticed and bumped up their mileage.
