Another website problem!
Just saw the "new" APIS (Advanced passenger info system) tab on the website, so I thought I'd go in and enter passport 3's, etc for our trip to Hawaii in march. (Although I did enter the info when I made the AP booking last May) So I get everything entered ,and hit the "save" button. and guess what comes back--"We are having technical difficulties. Please note the error number and call technical support"
Yeah right. Is this just a today problem or has anyone successfully done this
info entry to their PNR in the past?

No, it has been like this for at least a week.
I have this complete the APIS message in my view booking page although I am not travelling to the U.S. In any case, I tried to fill it in and got the exact message as yours. After a few tries over a span of a few days, I finally rang the technical help desk and was told that the matter would be "escalated" to the next level of help assistance but in the meantime, please print the form, fill it out and take it with me to check in.
Then I rang the reservation office and the agent told me that it is only required for U.S.A. bound flight. Just disregard it! But unfortunately you're flying to the U.S., so you have to print the form, fill it out and take it with you to check in.

That was not the ultimate problem. The error message comes back after you
try to submit and save the info to your file.

Over a few days now I have attempted to use the "Online Form" to fulfill APIS requirements in advance of check-in. It wrongly complains about the address field and eventually gives up.
I suppose I would like Air Canada's website to work, but at this point all I care about is getting the required information entered. It is too early for me to use "Web Check-In".
Is there anyone who has had difficulty with the "Online Form" but has been able to provide the information using "Web Check-In"?
I would prefer to provide the information at the airport as a last resort.

I've been able to get past the address error problem, as I mentioned above,(really have to make sure no periods, etc.), but I still get the "technical difficulties-call India" message> iT has been like this for over 2 weeks, maybe longer AFAIK. I guess its not a priority for them to get this working.
