Embraer teething problems?

Just had the 2nd cancellation of an Embraer 190 in seven days. They must be having some issues; the FA alluded to this when I asked him.

Did you mean the EMB175 ?

I thought that EMB 190 deliveries to AC were slated to begin next month.

Just backs up the comment I posted a few weeks ago that they're gaining a rep as hangar queens. Funny how some jumped all over the 345's perceived problems, yet seem reluctant to paint the jungle jets with the same brush. Haven't heard of the same issues with the Canadian made 705's

Actually, the 345 had teething problems that were solved. Its dispatch reliability is pretty high. The 175s will be no different. By next spring, they will be doing really well. You get software glitches in the avionics that require software updates. These come in over a period of weeks and months as the problems are identified.
