Any possible changes to qualification thresholds?

HI,

I am at the point of the year where I have requalified for AC*E, and booked the remaining for CO*G and UA*1P, however I have a last trip for december that I hesitate to do on AC to bring it from 41k to 50k, at the cost of loosing my UA elite bonus (I don't have any bonus with AC). Do you think it is likely they will change the Elite threshold to 50k to be in-par with US and UA? We all know they did something similar for Prestige last year, why not doing it with Elite this year? I hope maybe they talked about it at the YVR DO some attended the other day.

Thank you.

IIRC from the YVRDO this topic was brought up, Elite threshold will remain at 35,000.

Yes, I just read from another post by SHareholder :

We have been assured that ELITE will not rise to 50K in the 2006 earning year for qualification for 2007/8, but I expect once AC completes the realignment of its international fares with its NAmerican ones, we may see the requirement rise to 50K during 2007 for 2008/9.

I guess I will only codeshare on AC to YQB until the end of the year then...

That is correct. We really do not have one, although there is the occasional (but rare!) and welcomed intervention by RP in some extremely special circumstances.
I have noticed that you have been posting here on a increasingly regular basis, so welcome to our humble abode!
