YOWkid, thankyou thankyou THANKYOU! This has been making me mental. My machine flips into other languages seemingly of its own accord. Suddenly I'm typing in Russian! Now I know why. :-: ^ I'm a big-time Alt-Tab user, and Alt-Shift-Tab to cycle in the other direction, and some of those alt-shifts must flip my language bar. What a relief to know why, and another reason to be grateful to FT. And, staying vaguely on topic, to have a desire to give away items like the SEVEN pieces of paper I gave away last week, or the four I gave away in December :)

They had the wrong address so my assistant and I ended up in the parking lot trying to coax Bonhomme out of his van. He graciously accepted ! :D

I have photographic evidence of this but don't know how to post pix. Suggestions ?

You may want to try the www.blackphotocentre.com and create an account...it's free!

Specially when sentence is also a word in French...but one of it's meaning is judgement (punition from a judge), so I guess you're right...it's a punishment for us to try to read your sentence!! :D :D :p :p :D :D

Could be that the actors who play Bonhomme during the carnaval do moonlight also at the SAQ :p

This is what I really really meant: :)
"Winter of discontent
National Post, Canada - Jan 3, 2005
"Twenty of the actors who play Bonhomme Carnaval, the grinning snowman who is the mascot of Quebec City's winter carnival, quit last week in the midst of heated ... "

NordsFan Feb 4, 2005 12:17 pm

He's no longer on strike !

I'm sure you'll agree with me that during the winter carnival, Le Bonhomme helps the SAQ business quite a lot! How could the Quebec City economy survive if the Bonhomme AND the SAQ are on strike? ;)

You are refering to what shore9 is missing about the Quebec women experience quite well my friend! Too bad for him if he doesn't want to learn the local dialect to have interesting conversation with that friend of yours on the pix!! ;) And I'm not talking about the Bonhomme...althought, maybe he is shore9 kind of idea for a happy hour!! :D :D

I'm getting me one of those Bonhomme suits ASAP and I'm not saying which one of those two it is that I wouldn't mind hugging me

NordsFan, it's good to see that Bonhomme Carnival is smart enough to get himself a picture with such a great FTer. Shows he is both smart and has class ^

Hope you have a good time at the reception :)

Super Larry or NordsFan, does it say how much space you get for free and for how long?

I have been looking for the best free site to store hotel photo's on as a database and then link it to FT for a heads up for others. I don't want to jummp through hoops signing up accounts everywhere just to find out :)
