BUG - Package Selection Problem

Hello Everyone (Including AC/AP Lurkers),

As a SuperElite, I was offered the opportunity to select my "Experience Package" today but it doesn't work because State / Province is a required field and I can't select (NONE or Other).

It keeps telling me Items marked with asterisk * are mandatory.

Am I the only "non-canadian / us" resident with this type of problem?

Regards,
FRAC

I was tempted to do that but since it is a pull down menu and mail takes forever before reaching France (Still waiting for my November UG Certs), I am sure that puting something like:

75009 Paris Arkansas France

will make sure that I never receive my package. I'll give them a couple of days...

Regards,

FRAC

I did that but it doesn't work. Thanks anyway Empress, I opened a case with Aeroplan IT Support in Halifax (told it should be fixed within a week or two). So I selected my package over the phone with the SE desk and it is updated properly on my profile now.

I had a hell of a time getting my address to 'look' right on the aeroplan page when i changed from my CDN address to my tokyo address.

There is no 'street' where i live, well there is, but it has no name so i had to be creative.

There is also districts in japan that are part of a postal address, 3 seperate digits seperated by hyphens and i remember the aeroplan page having issues with hyphens as well. My postal address, which is more like a numbered zip code had to have periods in it instead of the proper hyphens.

Oh well at least my aeroplan mail still arrives but my address makes generally no sense when read from the perspecive of Japan. Hats off to Japan Post.

PLEASE MAKE THE AEROPLAN WEB PAGE FOR ADDRESSES MORE INTERNATIONALY FRIENDLY

I second that ^
A lot of places simply don't have postal codes either.

Just phoned in my request for my foreign Japanese address(which seems to work as I always recieve my Tangerine thing ). The agent was very nice , and also mentioned that we should apply some pressure to have the address more foreign friendly.

Parnel , could you bring this up during your tour?

Hey, it doesn't even like Rural Route addresses (eg RR 1) and how can you get more Canadian than that!
