Smile Comp status to SE or E?

I'm a Platinum Elite on Continental and going to be traveling to Toronto quite often.

Does Air Canada ever comp status to SE or E? If so, who do I contact.

The answer is probably NO but you should get more answers from a few SEs here. Stay tuned!

I would guess not. But since you are UA Prem Exec, you would get the Star Alliance benefits and you could accumulate AC miles on MP

You won't be comped based on an existing status.

Btw, if you are used to CO/NW's UG policies, you won't like AC's!

I understand that you are correct according to the rules, however this is a new era for AC(E). Maybe they need to start comping status to deserving folks who are in a position to generate some new revenue for AC. Look Mum no commas

As WhyFly cryptically notes, you will not be able to use your friend's SSWU until you yourself are an Elite or SE status member. One must be an elite member to use them, or be accompanied by someone with one or the other level of status.

Don't overestimate yourself, it's not easy at all to post like shore9 (a.k.a. FT William Hung)!
