Off to LHR and BRU next week and was wondering about the accumulation of miles on the LHR-BRU sector. Upon Arr. at LHR, I am going straight to BRU for the day and Ret. to LHR sameday - then back to YYZ 2 days later. Am I right to assume that if I book this itin. straight through with AC - that mileage for the LHR-BRU-LHR will be calcuated as actual miles (206 each way) as opposed to the minimum of 500 miles each way that I would get if I booked these sectors on a sep. tix? Just wondering as I am heading for Elite and every mile counts - thanks.

Even if you book this as 1 ticket, the flight numbers for the BRU flights will be different. So the LHR-BRU-LHR flights will be treated separately from LHR-YYZ-LHR, even though you are connecting. You should get 500 miles per sector whichever way you book it.Originally Posted by DAS1
