Off to LHR and BRU next week and was wondering about the accumulation of miles on the LHR-BRU sector. Upon Arr. at LHR, I am going straight to BRU for the day and Ret. to LHR sameday - then back to YYZ 2 days later. Am I right to assume that if I book this itin. straight through with AC - that mileage for the LHR-BRU-LHR will be calcuated as actual miles (206 each way) as opposed to the minimum of 500 miles each way that I would get if I booked these sectors on a sep. tix? Just wondering as I am heading for Elite and every mile counts - thanks.

Even if you book this as 1 ticket, the flight numbers for the BRU flights will be different. So the LHR-BRU-LHR flights will be treated separately from LHR-YYZ-LHR, even though you are connecting. You should get 500 miles per sector whichever way you book it.

Thanks for the info House. Just got it sorted with Aeroplan and revised my AC itin. 500 miles each way it is.
