New code?

Just got my latest (last too I suppose) Aeroplan statement, on new letterhead.

I noticed ahead of my name, there is a one-line code, like

xxxx_AE1_SSE_xxx / xxx-xxxxxxx

in which the x stand for numerical digits. No relationship that I can identify with my AP number.

Any clue as to what this new serial number stands for?

Sorry, no answers. But I thought Ap was going to e-mail statements for all members. Is that not the case or are elites in a different category?

Basic... and received a paper statement as well, to my surprise. Was also of the understanding that e-mail statements were starting.

Buried in there is a code that mentions how many pro or anti AC posts you have made here

Was it not the case that August stmts were still to be mailed out, then Sept stmts would be online? Was the stmt your received August? I would expect so.

Yes. I suspected something like that. Which is why I did not post the actual number, just xxx.

I've been getting them quite quickly up until now, with the certs coming along almost instantly. Except for this month, of course, when the great cert screw-up happened and plenty of people opened their statements to find nothing.

For example, at the end of July I qualified for one bonus, then hit another bonus by mid-August, and when the statement came about a week or so ago it reported the certs as being enclosed. If only they had been there I'd be able to say that's a pretty quick turnaorund time

The statement date is when they determine how many threshold you've crossed since the last statement date and any earned UG certs will be mailed along with the statement.

Thanks for the clarification. Threshold was passed August 17th, I'll expect the certs later this month.
