Things that don't work

The cabin maintenance, and maintenance in the airports on Air Canada is suffering. Quote ferrari's complaints about cleaning the aircraft before flight.

Since we know that some people at AC read this site, please pass along discrepencies that you have found recently.

I will start

YEG MLL the 'Internet Cafe' has no computers. For the longest time they did not work and now they are gone.

YYC MLL at the afternoon peak on Saturday (barely a seat unoccupied) and the Big Rock beer keg is empty.

Flt 844-07Feb seats 1D and 1G. Centre console u/s. No video, no audio, no call buttons, no reading light.
Moved me to seat 5G and the reading light would not turn on again.
Seat 5D the reading light would not turn off. The flight attendant covered the light with a coffee cup and sticky tape so the guy in 5D could sleep.

Indeed true. There is now only one VERY slow computer in the whole lounge - there were four.

YEG MLL the espresso machine doesn't work (I wasn't sure I could get this typed before my flight leaves - I have an hour - that's how slow the computer is ).

If you've got a Palm OS device then download a free remote control program so you can change the channel.

Espresso machine?
Internet?
Free Beer?

Has anyone visited any US airline lounge lately? Not only do you have to pay to get into one, you have to pay for everything mentioned above... including mineral water!

Most of the AS Board Room lounges have all of the above (except the high-speed internet is available for a nominal fee).

I had to give away my U/G wallpaper and thought by Tangoing to YYZ yesterday I could get parnel to buy me a coffee!

P.S. Gave away two SW and all my N/A. It took a long time as most people said words to the effect "...HA, HA I still have scads of my own useless ones...."

I accompanied a fellow FTer into the EWR President's Club last month... that is a very nice lounge to spend an hour or two in. Loved the complimentary table service.

At least wireless internet still works and free. Ever wanted to connect to the internet from a RCC in the US? Good luck unless you have your own dialup!
