Boxing Day 2023 / New Year's 2024 promos
Anyone have any thoughts on the Boxing Day Sale? Did they push prices up so that the price today with the 25% off promo code are the same as they were last week without it?

Would be nice if they were to extend this to redemptions, flight passes and not just single cash bookings.

The flights I booked a week ago are now $600 more expensive. Granted that was J with limited seats available compared to Y. However, based on memory I would say that economy comfort is the same or more expensive than last week on the same routing.
EDIT: I forgot that I had to add the promo code, eventhough the site has a huge boxing day sale banner. However, with the code the prices are still a few dollars higher than last week.

Me too. The $100 off my J ticket, didn’t cover the $600 price increase from Dec 25 to Dec 26th. I bought 4 tickets, so waiting for the sale, cost me a extra $2000.

That was pretty much what I found on the NYC-YQB flights I just priced out. Basically the exact same price as before Christmas.

Did not see fare increase for our Europe flights but couldn’t use limited offer because returning from different city.
Obviously Europe is popular to little motivations from attractive offer. But Westjet offered 20 percent on all their pure Westjet flights

I feel that AC’s higher sale is in the new year….last year this was combined with a 2x miles promo IIRC.

Westjet 25% off base fare to all destinations (with some blackout dates and no codeshares).

Is it possible to combine multiple classes on a RT booking and use this promo code?
Trying to book a RT with one way in J and the other in Y or PY. It works fine as a RT without the promo code but when I add it in it tells me that it wasn’t able to price my booking.
