Nov statement delayed
I have been watching for my Nov statement with a fistful of upgrades which should have been here by now. Just talked to AP and they say there has been a delay in the mailing but they should be out next week.

Just thought of this question. Do all AP members have the same statement dates, or how does it work? I did not want to reveal my statement date in case it may reduce my anonymity!

That's what's confusing. As I posted yesterday, the October 12th dated statements are arriving, but the November dated statements may not get out until Christmas. I think that's what's so frustrating for 100,00miler and others who are crossing those lucrative 60K and higher thresholds. Fortunately, AC sends out the 70K award ticket certificate separately, but those lounge passes come with the regular statement mailings. And while I am not in need of further SWUs for the moment, others seem to be. My December mailing [of the November statement] will have six SWU upgrades and the two lounge passes. The latter will only have a validity for two more months by the time they arrive. But hopefully, the SWUs will be the 2004 ones, so I will have those six plus another four in the January mailing, in advance of the arrival of the 2004 SE kit.

As it turns out, I just found in my mail today the statement dated Oct 12th, which is before I made one heck of a lot of flights. Thankfully I do not need SWUs but I find this service to be too slow especially for Elites and SuperElites who fly so much.
Like Shareholder, I have already received my 70K threshold ticket as of several weeks ago. So why can't they speed up the E and SE upgrade delivery. It is in their own interest to do so!
The upgrades could be sent out like the 70K voucher, seperately, esp as we can all view our statements on line.
But please do not anyone suggest that AC move to E-U/Gs which may be inevitable as I simply prefer the paper ones. Guess I am a paper guy just as I still prefer paper tickets.
Tangibility has its rewards.
