Trying our first post COVID vacation with Aeroplan - need help

Hi all,

Used to be a gold elite before all COVID nonsense and since Feb. 2020 haven’t been on a flight!

Booking a Maui flight with my Aeroplan for me, wife and toddler, using TD Aeroplan card. Have some questions as Aeroplan stuff has changed a lot.

Is business class worth it with a toddler?! Lots more miles but in economy the 3 of us can sit together, business would be 2+1, also with a 2.5yr old won’t be relaxing anyway. It’s a 6hr flight. YVR-Maui.

If economy, since I have TD card (free bag), is it worth getting the Flex or Lattitude rewards booking?! What benefits does it provide. I do wanna pay to book our seats beforehand, but I’m sure they will put us together regardless.

Last, on the 737 Max 8, what Econ row is best for us having a toddler?

PS. Sorry for newbie questions. Been a while since I’ve flown! 🙈
