2022 Cyber Monday Sale (30/25/20% Off)

Just got the email for the Cyber Monday sale.

30% off, first 1,000 bookings (Canada/US/Sun)
22CYBER30

25% off, next 2,000 bookings (Canada/US/Sun)
22CYBER25

20% off, all other bookings (Canada/US/Sun)
22CYBER20

$50 off (Europe / South America / Asia)
22CYBER50

In classic AC fashion, looks like no one actually tested this first. Tried applying the code to a domestic flight. Shows "30% discount applied", but the price doesn't change. Currently on the phone with them now to see what's up.

Agree, what a boondoggle. Same price with or without the Promo Code

YLW is a tough one at the best of times

I find my self booking x to YYC/YVR and then basic fare or AP Points YYC/YVR to YLW

I just came in from YOW as I went there for the weekend and it was cheaper on points. AC thinks YLW is full of rich folks like it did for YYC many years ago and they price it high. Perhaps that is why Flair and Lynx are in the market now?

22CYBER30 seemed to work fine for me. I had actually booked a YYZ-SEA flight less than 12 hours ago, but when I saw this sale, I re-priced the exact same itinerary and it did indeed drop by 30%. So when the 15-minute purchase timer started on the new booking, I quickly opened another browser window, cancelled the booking I made 12 hours ago, and then switched back to the first window and finished the new booking. I was even able to secure the exact same seats.

Booking made about 12 hours ago:

After 90 minutes on hold, "it's not working, ticketing confirms it's a bug, but there's no one here who can fix it at night."

I got off the phone at 02:00 EST, the agent said I should call back at 07:00 EST when the tech team is available, hah.

Worked for me. Had been searching for YYZ-LAX flights as recently as this morning, so I knew what the prices were, and this sale did represent a drop of around 30%. If you search without applying the promo code, you will see the normal rates. Prices in at roughly $300 USD for a January flight, not bad.

Looks like it's working for flights to the US, but not domestic.

Looks like the 30% off is all finished (tried to use for domestic but it was a no go). Valid about 30 minutes ago but tried again now for domestic and it's "expired." Looks like 25% is still valid but not working on domestic currently.

What a useless promotion that it can't be used to book the majority of flights that one would book on AC. So typical...

I just tried YYC YQR on Dec 8 with the cyber code and it priced out at $405 FLEX.
When I use my corporate code which I've previously mentioned on FT, I get a FLEX fare of $299...

YYC LAS on the same dates show $333 basic on cyber sale vs $213 with my corporate code....

Should've stayed in bed.
