Apple Pay on Air Canada buy-on-board

Has anyone had issues with Apple Pay on Air Canada buy-on-board terminals that allow you to tap?
I tried to use Apple Pay the other day to tap, and my TD Aeroplan Visa didn't work. The swipe was fine, and a non-TD Apple Pay worked fine. Just the TD Aeroplan Visa Apple Pay didn't work.
It gave an error that said customer data "not captured". Wondering if anyone else has seen this or know why this could be...
