If you ever have the problem of not getting a boarding pass at the airport, ask the agent to make sure the Oncarriage is listed when you check-in

Interesting read Agent. Greatly appreciate a response if you would:
(1) sounds like the ac ticket doesn't
have to be full-fare (since it says
valid ac only"?
(2) could you accept non StarAlliance tix
as easily (an American Airlines ticket
for example, that also says valid AA
only)?
