The Travel Summit - Prince of Travel - Mark Nasr - Scott O’Leary - October 2022

The team from Prince of Travel is hosting another event with a number of guest speakers including Mark Nasr & Scott O’Leary from AC. Mark and Scott will be participating in a keynote discussion on the inner workings of building a brand-new travel loyalty program from the ground up amidst the unique challenges of the past few years, and of course, fielding all of the audience’s burning Aeroplan questions too.

Canadiancow will also be there talking about the tools he's built and they have partnered with Miles for Migrants who help people impacted by war, persecution, or disaster reunite with loved ones and start new beginnings in safe homes.

I have no affiliation with the event or PoT, though I have been a paying member of their discord for the past year.

Why would they choose someone like him? I've probably done 10x as many FP segments as he has

I hear that he works for cheap. A couple of cans of Coke Zero and he's happy.

If anyone who isn't attending has any interesting (I'm the judge of that ) questions for Mark/Scott, feel free to post them here and I'll add them to my list.

Have they (and would they) consider a zone 1 access line for the lounges?

Give me some examples where it doesn't roughly correlate to cash prices.

I am thinking of coming - I have not decided.
My questions - if I can not come;

Will AC ever more closely have reciprocal benefits with UA and LH in terms of:

a) using e-upgrade credits on UA and LH (/LX) flights? I remember the good old days when I can use my CP upgrade stickers to upgrade on AA flights. Are UA passengers to upgrade on LH flights with their upgrade certificates?
b) some reciprocal benefits with LH so AC SEs can benefit LH F class lounges while LH/LX M and M uppermost tier members access Signature lounges- without going on the highest fare tickets of the respective airlines?.
c) when I fly J class to Germany on AC, I can access LH arrival lounges just like UA passengers flying on J (or they call it F?) class to Germany can access such a lounge.

Not sure your definition of roughly correlated is.
YVR-YYG where 6x the points gets you 3x the airfare.

16.4K+CA $41
50.2K+CA $41Mixed cabin
90.3K+CA $41
