Verification Code

Starting 1 or 2 months ago, every time when I log on my Aeroplan account (computer), Aeroplan sends a verification code to my email. I need to enter the verification code to continue.
Does this happen to everyone, or only me?
Thanks!

Similar experience. Only the App doesnt ask for it unless I log out.

The website usually logs me out after inactivity.

It used to do that to me all the time. Then it stopped. I thought because they fixed it. Maybe not then?

As I look after 2 AC accounts, one suddenly started with the code number each time I wanted to log in and the other not. I then found that in the account settings there is an option for a 2nd security check (code) which you can select or not. You will find the information about AC double security system.

This started happening to me on one computer about a year ago. Recently, it stopped on that computer but started on another computer, which did not previously have this problem.

Both are MacBook Pros using Chrome and sharing the same Chrome profile.

Seems like a cache thing but I can't be bothered to get to the bottom of it.

I was having the same problem recently. If you log into your account, and go to your profile, there is a switch for "two factor authentication"; you can switch this off and then it won't require the code every time.

Thank you for this tip. Turns out this was the 'problem'! Weird that AC had it turned on by default.
