Received this email this morning and deleted it without paying attention to the AC promo code part of it! Retrieved it from my trash folder and used it for a couple ON-AB flights in September. Good fares to be found!

There are times when I've experienced higher airfares when a code is applied, I have even been quoted different fares when I'm signed out vs. when I'm signed in (~$20.00 difference in pricing).

The Marriott rate code "QRI" has been around most of the pandemic. It has nothing to do with Air Canada other than Air Canada now has the marketing that says there is some connection. I have yet to book using QRI as other "discounts" have always been superior.

I also decided to jump on this for an upcoming trip to YVR and fly paid J for a change Mine was $733.96 on 789

Also to note, one of my searches had an error and the system showed that the coupon was only valid until June 8th (even though I booked on the 5th). The website does not mention it anymore, but the code (EEQTX731) still worked this am when I tried it, so you may still be able to apply it if required !

I also tried on Marriott, and found the QRI rates not better. One or more of tthe AAA, Senior, or even just Marriott-member rates are always better. So this QRI doesn't really give anything.
