I had no problem checking in to see if my YYZ bonus miles had finally posted.

No bonus yet.

PS. After posting this, I just tried. I can't get in now.

Based on your edit airbus320 I am going to assume that your original post was either psychic or are you just well trained and typed the answer out of habit

Cattle: My early morning routine involves checking the news for AC mentionned in dispatches and logging to usual sites. Aeroplan was ok about 6:30 CDT.

AC's res system is down (since 6 AM) and they don't know when it will be up. I am presuming this is all related. Hey I want to give my money to this airline but they can't do anything for me!

It seems IBM might be at fault here>

You talk about a black cloud hanging over your organization.

OT: What was the name of that cartoon character who walked about with a cloud over his head? Joe??? in what comic strip?

L'il Abner by Al Capp

http://www.deniskitchen.com/thestore...e_btfsplk.html

JOE BTFSPLK is very simply the world's biggest jinx. He walks around with a perpetually dark rain cloud a foot over his head. Once he appears on any scene, dreadfully bad luck befalls anyone in his vicinity. Though well-meaning and gentle, his reputation inevitably precedes him, so Joe is a very lonely and feared little man. He is also a character with an apparently unpronounceable name, but creator Al Capp pronounced Btfsplk with a "raspberries" sound, also known as a "Bronx cheer."

And he didn't even have IBM to blame...

p: that wasn't crap as in that's a load of crap but crap as in OH CRAP (or OH SH*T!), as I wanted to book my RTW today back through China to Europe and South Africa. 7 day minimum, wonder if they will waive it for computer's being down.
