Global airport system outage?
At LAX for ac788 and we were told global airport system down. They cannot access any passenger records or print PIL

concierge said been down since around 6 pm PT.

inbound passengers held on plane waiting to authorization to deplane.

outbound....anyone’s guess

There's no way there was a global outage for 4 hours before anyone posted to FT.

That was exactly my thought!!
i even told her “there is nothing posted on FT and WE know more than those who work at the airport”

Both PVG to YYZ and also to YVR delayed right now by 2hrs Everything being done on paper, boarding passes, flight manifests....

AC app even has a message for our flights "Delayed duet I.T. system Issue"

Lineups for check-in for both flights are pretty epic.

AC879 (ZRH to YYZ, full of WEF attendees) delayed 2 hours today: DELAY OTHER AUTOMATED SYSTEM
AC873 (FRA to YYZ) delayed 1 hour today: DELAY OTHER AUTOMATED SYSTEM

Seems legit.

Since it's IT, it's also clearly beyond their control. So no comp.

Two AC flights this morning YYT-YYZ were delayed leaving due to "IT issues"...
