Aeroplan sends me to non functioning # to Complete booking

Instead of taking payment, they tell me to call 844 459 7857 to complete my booking within 24 hours. The number "cannot be reached from your location". US and, of course, the main number has been "high call volume please try again later" all day.
I'm stuck!

Where is your location? Are you dialing 1-844-459-7857? It's a toll free in North America phone number. Don't dial without the 1 before 844.

Or call from Skype for free as are all toll free numbers called from Skype.

Try these from the contact us Aeroplan page which is what is shown from the link that says sometimes you have to call them to complete booking:

Canada, USA, and the Caribbean 1-800-361-5373 United Kingdom 0800 756 3865 All other areas 1-514-395-0300

I think Jeane Dixon died so that's out. None of them pick up or all of them put you in a queue?

Finally!

Around 10pm I called and got a different recording; a male voice saying that the wait could be 60 minutes or more. About 1/2 hr later, a woman came on, pleasant and helpful, solved my problem. Apparently when you book an awards ticket that neither originates or terminates in your home country you have to call.
Sure said the special call in number soupy have worked and that she would report it.
Very helpful, professional, and pleasant. Worth the wait... But not the all day trying to get in queue.

Absolutely not true.

The only times I've had to call met that criterion, but I've had numerous bookings that didn't touch the US where I didn't have to call.
