Saw the team this morning at T3. 180 media members left at 10am. Team left after. They all looked exhausted.

A Delta 757 flew YYZ to SFO this afternoon landing around 1300 local - DL 8942. Dunno if that was the team, fans or entourage

The team and media charters all flew directly to Oakland, not SFO.

"We’re celebrating the big win with 15% off all base fares worldwide. Fly with the preferred airline of the Toronto Raptors! Hurry, offer ends June 14."

False advertising?

The NBA's charter airline and a specific team's preferred airline are not necessarily the same.

Given that AC's largest hub is in the Raptors' home city, I find it hard to believe it wouldn't be their preferred airline.

Actually looks like they're headed to LAS shortly for an overnight, and then onto YYZ tomorrow arriving at 9:07pm.

Sounds like something many of us here do regularly.

AC Jetz lost the contract to Delta since 2016.

Not a great source, but Wikipedia:
" Jetz was also the carrier of the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association (NBA) until 2016 when they switched to Delta Airlines, and since April 2010, the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB). This was the first time Jetz operated sport charters during the summer. "

Was this not an NBA-enforced league-wide agreement/contract with DL?
