Things that cannot be skychecked...

Leaving YUL on a Dash-8 yesterday, one of the last passengers to board was a dad travelling with a small infant in a stroller that I had seen in the boarding area earlier. Guy gets on the plane having gate checked everything, and the GA working outside (with her high-vis vest, ear protection, sunglasses) comes on the plane and says "sir, you forgot something ... I can't keep your baby". And hands him the baby back.

He wouldn't have a problem making new girlfriends. A friend of mine who often traveled on his own with his infant son to visit his family in the Maritimes says he experienced almost non-stop attention from female FAs and women of all ages and descriptions. Not so much when he was with his wife.

This was a comment in reference to a certain poster who had made references to attempts to enter the MLL with his wife and (son's) girlfriends before. Both unintentionally and intentionally.

Interesting to note though lol.

Dogs usually garner the same attention, without the expense of college education, and dog boarding is way cheaper than babysitting!

Yeah, but dogs don't do the dishes, mow the lawn, shovel the snow...

Was the baby in a different boarding zone?

Neither do babies. Even after they grow up.

Lol. I remember the FA said we had 33 pieces of skycheck (the plane was completely full) ... almost 34 pieces of skycheck ;-)

Obviously she considered the baby small enough to go in the overhead bin.
