Preferred Seats with SE 100k + mixed bookings
Two quick questions
Do SE 100k get preferred seats on BASIC or STANDARD fare? (The terms say TANGO ?)
Can you make a mixed booking under the same booking ref number where some are comfort and others basic? The reason it needs to be under the same booking ref is so everyone on the reservation can get priority seating...
Many thanks

No, you cannot mix different fares for different passengers on the same booking.
What you can do is book everyone together, select preferred seats, then split one or more passengers off into a separate PNR and upfare them (but remember, Basic bookings cannot be changed at all).

As an SE, I’ve often asked (via Direct Message to the Altitude Twitter account) to have my family seated in preferred seats with me when I’ve either booked them on lower fares (hence, separate booking reference) or through Aeroplan. They’ve done that for me every time.
