YVR-YYZ shows J1, but the list isn't visible until SYD-YVR is PD, which should hopefully be soon given that you're on board.

These aren’t the pancakes you’re looking for
And yes YVR YYZ is now J1. It was J0 at the time I posted before It’s within 24h now or is this some other strange thing with this special flight?

The SYD Concierge told me that SYD origin pax will only appear on the upgrade list for YVR-YYZ "after the flight takes off" from SYD.
We have another 30 min delay (at least) "to do a lock-out of the left side fuel nozzle." The technician is beside me on his phone. I am in 1A.

Looks like there are two people who were upgraded all the way through, but I suspect that was in advance from OYB fares.
Number one on the list has a confirmed seat, just no seat assignment, so that J1 is really J0.
But with a 3.5 hour delay, I expect a lot of people to move to earlier flights. Good luck.

Edit: Just refreshed and saw @ChrisA330's post. Swapped (but still delayed) plane takes J cabin down from 40 to 30

Cow's theory seemed reasonable that some people would SDC away from AC34 since it took on a delay. I'd also say that some others on later narrowbody aircraft would see the delay and do the opposite, balancing things out. May all be a moot point since it was booked to 39 or 40 then downgauged to a 30J cabin

Cleared and sitting in 1D!
And delayed again. It will be a late arrival into YOW tonight as I will probably miss AC496. Thanks for following the saga.

So, did your upgrade to YYZ clear?
